York Schools Volunteer Program
WE ARE PROUDLY CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF VOLUNTEERISM IN THE YORK SCHOOLS!
Individuals and organizations involved in the York Schools include parents, grandparents, mentors, citizens, and businesses and organizations from the town of York and surrounding areas. Our volunteers support our staff and students in many areas: they may help in the classroom, assist with various projects and programs, or meet with students enrolled in the York Schools Mentor Program. In recent years, the York School Department (YSD) has welcomed more than 900 volunteers who have volunteered over 26,000 hours in our schools annually. We thank our volunteers for their unwavering support and generosity.
We are very excited to welcome volunteers into our schools for the 2025/2026 school year!
