Chloe Whitbread ('25) applied in the fall for the opportunity to present at TEDx York Beach. Applicants were asked to prepare a speech on "Power of the Past. Force of the Future." She auditioned in November and was selected as a participant in the show in February. She worked with a speech coach for the next few months to hone her presentation. Chloe did such a great job preparing for the event that she was selected to be the closing act for the February 10 show. Giving a high school student the opportunity to highlight the future is an honor that Chloe earned. Her speech titled: "Sacrificing the Journey" will be viewable on YouTube soon.
