A huge thank you goes out to all the parents who assisted in our Living History program. Again it was a great success. Our class enjoyed having all the volunteers there to experience Living History with us.
Starting Tuesday, October 28th, I will be available for after school help. Any student on the ORCA Team who needs extra help in any subject is welcome to stay after. I will be here from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on those days.
On Monday, November 3rd, the 5th Grade will be attending a play at the Seacoast Repertory Theater in Portsmouth. The play is entitled "Schoolhouse Rock". We will be leaving at 9:00 am and returning to YMS at 1:00. We ask students to bring a bag lunch as we will be eating in Prescott Park after the show. Permission slips and the $4.00 are due by Friday. Thanks!
We really enjoyed the "Schoolhouse Rock" presentation last Monday. It was exciting to see kids from 8 years old to 15 years old put on such a professionsl production. We were also an excellent audience! Lunch was fun at Prescott Park. What a jewel of the seacoast it is!
On the following Tuesday, November 11, there is no school in honor of Veteran's Day.
Information on Parent/Student/Teacher conferences will be coming home soon. They are scheduled for Thanksgiving week (11/24 - 11/26).
