Walk to School events for VES are organized at the public library. We meet as a group at the library and leave for school at 8:15. Of course, if you live close enough you can walk from your home. We usually arrive at school when the bell starts to ring. If there has not been a bell yet, children are free to use the playground under parent supervision.
If you plan to walk with us, please enter the library parking lot from Woodbridge Rd. Please park in that back lot. We will gather out front and begin our walk together. Unless you have made other arrangements, please plan on being with your children. Do not just drop them off.
These are to-school events only. After school there will not be an event. Please make the proper arrangements.
