Students and teachers are all challenged during Jump Rope for Heart. Teachers are encouraged to participate this year! Students are challenged to raise money. The class that has the most students return a fundraising envelope will win the banner challenge. As the winner of this honor all students in the class sign their name to the annual Jump Rope for Heart banner provided by the American Heart Association.
Grade levels will also be challenged as a group. Online fundraising is a new addition in recent years. Technology is an important part of the curriculum here at VES, so the second grade class that has the most students sign up online will earn an extra PE opportunity for themselves.
