For those of you know me as Mr. Gray, my real name is Andrew Gray. I go by Andy. I was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts where I learned to love sports like hockey, soccer, football, baseball and tv wrestling. I grew up there until my family moved to Wells, Maine in 1991. Wells was a vacation destination for my family for years and finally we got tired of the city life and moved to Maine. In Wells, my love for soccer grew while basketball and volleyball became a new loves. In high school I took PE classes all 4 years while it was only required for 2. I joined many school sports
teams while not always playing too much. However, after school I was always outside doing something with my friends.
When I graduated from Wells High School I attended Plymouth State College to become a PE teacher. I knew I wanted to be a PE teacher from the start. At college I fell in love with golf and frisbee.
My position here at Village is my first. I have been here since 2002. I also coach the 7th grade boys basketball team at the middle school. Check out that link from my home page.
At home I have 2 children, both girls Madison and Emma, and my wife Sarah. We live in the town of Waterboro where the wildlife uses our backyard as their playground!
