Performing Arts

        YMS has two bands: beginning and intermediate. The beginning band is 5th and 6th graders. The intermediate band is 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. There is a holiday performance and an end of the year performance. The instruments played are: clarinet, flute, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, and drums/percussion.
    There are also three YMS chorus groups. They are 5th, 6th, and 7th and 8th combined chorus. There is a holiday performance and a spring performance.

After School Enrichment
Mrs. Lombardi, Coordinator
    For Fall, Winter, and Spring YMS students may participate in the After School Enrichment program.  These after school classes are 30 minutes to 2 hours and are about special interests like crafts, dancing, news, acting, sports, percussion, and magic.
