After Graduation in 1977, went to University of Maine (Orono) majoring in Journalism and Broadcasting. After graduating from UMaine, went to work in radio news business at stations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine for six years. Took a temporary job at L. L. Bean which lasted for eight years. In the spring of 1996, started work at Central Maine Power Company in the Corporate Communications office. Would love to hear from fellow grads from the 70's!

Software Implementation Consultant

I have been living in Florida since 1979, currently living in Crystal River, Fl. with my wife Karen. We have a two daughters, Sandra who is 4 and Daniela who is 1, and a son Cody who is 1. I attended Pasco-Hernando Community College in New Port Richey, Florida and received my A.S. degree in Computer Science. I am currently working for Champs Software in Crystal River as a software consultant for a CMMS application. (computerized maintenance management system).

I would like to hear from old Classmates of the 70's.

Nuclear Power Plant Electrical Superintendent

After graduation I spent 4 years in the US Coast Guard and became a electrical petty officer. After doing my four year tour of duty I attended the University of Maine at Orono and earned my BS in education. Form there I went back to the York area and started working at the Seabrook Nuclear power plant as an Electrician. 21 years later I'm still at the power plant and just took a new Job building a Nuclear Fleet training program. I've been married for 23 years and have 3 great kids. John my youngest will graduate from YHS in the spring of 2007, Katie the middle child is planning to graduate from UMO in 2008 and Joe the oldest is currently living in Kittery and pursuing a acting career.
