Goal #1	Effective technology integration will be identified as a professional goal for all teachers.
Action Step	All teachers will include technology-specific goals in their Professional Learning Plans.
Action Step	Teachers will partner with one another to develop best practices and technology-infused lessons.
Action Step	Principals will formally observe teachers and students using technology in an instructional setting. The subsequent discussion and write-up will focus not only on instruction of core curricular content, but on how technology was used as a learning tool.

Goal #2	All teachers will maintain an online educational presence.
Action Step	Workshops and courses (ie, Web Publishing, Podcasting, Blogging, Wikis, etc.) will be offered yearly.
Action Step	Teachers will present their online resources for students at Parent Night in the fall.
Action Step	Teachers will encourage online communication with their students and students' parents.

Goal #3	Maintain an online resource (repository) of locally developed Best Practices and Instructional strategies.
Action Step	A workshop will be offered for teacher volunteers to create lessons and units based on the Technology Grade Level Expectations
Action Step	Templates will be provided and assistance offered for the work done above.
Action Step	Lesson plans and units incorporating technology into learning will be published on York Schools Intranet.

Goal #4	Promote successes in classroom instruction and student learning through district communication
Action Step	Develop technology mentor relationships across district to assist integration in classrooms.
Action Step	Utilize electronic devices and tools (ie. website, school newsletters, student digital content, electronic portfolio, presentation at conferences) to share best practices.
Action Step	Involve curriculum teams in the selection of new hardware, software and virtual resources during budget development.
