Grade 2
o       Make and analyze a graph using classroom data
o       Indentify rows, columns and cells
o       Enter data into a spreadsheet template.
o       Explain the relationship between data and visual representation (graph).

Grade 3
o       Enter text and numbers by moving from cell to cell to design a spreadsheet with titles and data
o       Format cells for size
o       Create a graphical representation of numerical data (e.g.,bar, line, and pie) using a spreadsheet

Grade 4
o       Manipulate spreadsheet format  (e.g., resizing rows and columns, font, colors, hiding grid) for a specific purpose
o       Insert or delete rows or columns
o       Create a spreadsheet from a blank page, including simple formulas and simple functions (SUM and AVG ).

Grade 5
o       Create a spreadsheet from a blank page, including formulas and functions (MAX, MIN, ROUNDUP, ROUNDDOWN).
o       Create a graphical representation of multiple series  of numerical data.
o       Manipulate spreadsheet format  (e.g., resizing rows and columns, font, colors, hiding grid).

Grade 6
o       Create a spreadsheet from a blank page, including formulas and functions (MIN, MAX,  MEDIAN, MODE, ROUND)
o       Format cells  (e.g. numeric, monetary, per- cent, values).

Grade 7
o       Create, enter and edit formulas
o       Use a spreadsheet to calculate and display a comparison of two different scenarios
o       Refine the use of spreadsheet terminology (cells, format, column, row, spreadsheet, data, graphs, replicate, new terms with respect to formulas)
o       Identify non-mathematical uses of the spreadsheet (calendars, address collections, lists, etc.)
o       Create an original spreadsheet to explore and analyze the results of "what if" situations (e.g. science fair, cookie sale)

Grade 8
o       Use a spreadsheet for a real-life application

Grade 9-12
o       Create, edit, and use a complex spreadsheet  (multiple trends, progressions, etc.)
o       Use charts to predict possible future outcomes
o       Search, edit, and add to existing electronic and relational databases (multiple sheets and segments managed by different individuals)
o       Investigate simulations in real-world situations (e.g. stock market game, crisis and emergency management simulations)
o       Document spreadsheets with named cells and comments.
o       Create a graphical representation appropriate to the numerical data (e.g., scatter plot, x-y, etc).
o       Reference formulas from other worksheets.
o       Manage multiple worksheets
