iWork to Google Drive

This tutorial will show how to transfer an item from one of the iWork apps on the Apple iPad to your Google Drive account. The process is the same regardless of whether your artifact was created in Pages, Keynote, or the Numbers app. The main difference that you will see is the choice of formats that you can convert your artifact to before transferring it to Drive.

Pages can be transferred as:
  • Pages*
  • Word
  • ePub
  • PDF
Keynote can be transferred as:
  • Keynote*
  • PowerPoint
  • PDF
Numbers can be transferred as:
  • Numbers*
  • Excel
  • CSV (Comma Separated Values)
  • PDF

*If the iPad has the latest iWork suite installed, then transferring artifacts in their native format will cause them to arrive in Google Drive as zipped files. Zipped files are not viewable in Drive and will require a download to a Mac computer so that they can be unzipped before being viewed.
