Congrats to all the music students who have successfully gone through their first Smartmusic assessments! Over 500 have been catalogued this quarter between band, chorus and treble choir - great work everyone!!!

The York School Committee has officially placed the Music Instructional Space project back on the ballot for May! There will be a public hearing on Wednesday, January 16th at the York Public Library beginning at 6:00 - any who can attend are urged to do so!

The Chamber Singers alumni came back and performed an unforgettable concert on Thursday January 3rd. We raised nearly $1,000.00 for the Linda Masella Scholarship Fund and had a great time in the process in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Pictures from that concert as well as additions to the photo album have been posted on the Chamber Singers Alumni page.

After some great - and much appreciated - advanced billing in the York Weekly, The York Independent followed up with a wonderful article on the Holiday Choral Concerts. Thanks to both local papers for their support!!! The Y.I. article can be read here.
